UQAM hosts the 10th edition of the Love and Sex with Robots Conference

August 4, 2025 – Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming every aspect of our lives. Intimate relationships are no exception. In recent years, sextech has generated strong interest from both the scientific community and the general public. From August 15 to 17, leading experts from around the world will gather at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) for this international conference. Members of the media are invited to attend the presentations.
Organized by Simon Dubé, affiliate professor in the Department of sexology at UQAM and Research Fellow at Indiana University’s Kinsey Institute, the event will explore human intimate relationships between humans and machines, as well as between humans and robots. Speakers will cover a wide range of topics, from love and sexuality with robots to the ethical and social issues of erotic interaction with—and through—new technologies.
